Halona was founded in 2022 by Saskia, someone who’s spent years in the world of hospitality, travel, and guiding people through unforgettable experiences, not just trips, but journeys that stick with you long after you’re home.

The name Halona means fortunate. It’s a word that reminds us why we do what we do: helping people feel lucky to have lived something special, to walk new paths, meet new souls, and see the world from a quieter, more meaningful angle.

Based in Labuan Bajo, we specialize in sailing trips across Komodo National Park, multi-day crossings between Lombok and Labuan Bajo, and overland journeys to Wae Rebo, one of the most magical highland villages in Indonesia. Whether it’s drifting between islands, swimming with manta rays, or sipping coffee above the clouds, we craft each trip with care, intention, and a deep respect for the local culture and environment.
